RULES:
Competition Rules and Guidelines
You must be available for the following times:
-
One time slot (chosen by the management) during the preliminary
round.
-
One fifteen minute time slot (by management-approved appointment
only) during the videotaping round on Tuesday, January 22nd.
-
Contestants chosen for the web-voting round must be present at
the public announcement on Tuesday, January 29th at
12:00-noon or you will be dropped from the competition.

For rehearsal on Thursday, January 31st beginning at
4pm
-
For the live final round on Friday, February 1st
beginning at 6pm (performance begins at 7pm)

Contestants must be a currently enrolled student with a valid
ASU ID for the term beginning in January 2008.

Contestants will be disqualified if profanity or the obscenities
are used during the audition, or during the introduction and/or
feedback time.

Contestants who are chosen to go the videotaping and web-voting
round will be assigned a piece to sing.

Contestants will sing in preliminary round without
accompaniment. This includes all CD,mp3 and all other music
players
-
Contestants understand that the preliminary round will be
evaluated by a panel of three judges and their decision in final
and there are no appeals.

Contestants who are chosen to go to the Final Live Round will
choose three pieces to sing, and may use a CD for accompaniment
or have limited live accompaniment. All choices for pieces and
the accompaniment must be approved by management.
