academic standing. Some programs may have certain other requirements,
such as a minimum grade point average. In most cases, knowledge of the
host language is not a prerequisite.
What
Does It Cost?
The quoted prices are estimated as air fares and hotel rates are subject
to change. While the costs for study abroad programs may seem high at
first, if you add up tuition, fees, housing, meals, and cost of round-trip
air fares, you will find that the programs are reasonable. Most forms
of financial aid will apply to study aboard, including the Hope Scholarship.
The Regents Study Aboard Scholarships and other competitive scholarships
are also available for some programs. Questions regarding financial
aid should be directed to the campus coordinator of the program or to
the financial aid office.
