May 05 (Thu)      Depart Atlanta, USA 
Depart Atlanta by flight to China. Cross the international dateline.

May 06 (Fri)        Beijing (D)
Arrive Beijing by air. Upon arrival, CITS meet / transfer to INTERNATIONAL HOTEL Beijing for 4 nights with daily breakfast. CITS books rooms. Welcome dinner at local Restaurant. Balance of the day free.

May 07 (Sat)   Beijing (B, L, D)
Full-day tour and sightseeing: Tian’An Men Square, Forbidden City, Hutong tour with rickshaw ride and local home visit. 

May 08 (Sun)   Beijing. (B, L, D)
 Full-day tour to Simaitai section of the Great Wall for some hiking with picnic lunch there. Return to Beijing later today. . 

May 09 (Mon)    Beijing (B, L, D)
Full-day business visits in Beijing: Beijing International Studies University and local farm in the suburbs.

May 10 (Tue)      Beijing / Nanjing (B, L, D)
Free day in Beijing at your leisure. Later today, CITS guide / coach to transfer you to Beijing Railway Station for overnight train Beijing / Nanjing. Depart Beijing for Nanjing on soft-sleeper train tonight.

May 11 (Wed)    Nanjing (L, D)
Upon arrival in the morning, local CITS meet / transfer to Central Hotel Nanjing (or other 4-star downtown hotel) for 2 nights with daily breakfast.  City tour in Nanjing: Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, Ming Tomb (for the first emperor in the Ming Dynasty), Confucius Temple and etc. .  

May 12 (Fri)  Nanjing / Yangzhou / Nanjing (B, L, D) 
Full-day excursion by coach to Yangzhou, known for its Slim West Lake, garden and Da Ming Monastery. Return to Nanjing this afternoon.

May 13 (Fri) Nanjing / Shanghai (B, L, D)
Morning visit to a local factory / business in Nanjing. Afternoon express train to Shanghai. Upon arrival in Shanghai, local CITS meet / transfer to Shanghai Broadway Mansions Hotel for 4 nights with breakfast. Tonight, take a Huangpu River cruise to view the Shanghai night skyline.

May 14 (Sat)   SHANGHAI (B, L, D)
An exciting full-day private tour to the Bund, Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple and Shanghai Museum, followed by a visit to Shanghai TV Tower, the Oriental Pearl for a bird-eye view of Shanghai. Enjoy the famed Shanghai acrobatic show tonight following dinner.

May 15 (Sun)  SHANGHAI
A full day visit to Zhu jia jiao – the water village.

May 16 (Mon)    Shanghai (B)
Free day at your leisure in Shanghai.

May 17 (Tue)    Shanghai / Atlanta, USA (B)
Check out and CITS transfer to Pudong Airport. Depart Shanghai for home by air. End of China tour.
