Wellness 1000 credit- 3 hours
Professor Graeme Connolly
This course in a lecture/ discussion/ activity course that integrates the physical, mental, social and environmental aspects of wellness. This course will be enhanced by activities typical of life in Scotland (e.g. walking in hills, along the shore, around the city). Students will incorporate daily fitness goals with local cultural outings and one day tours as a way to emphasize the effectiveness of lifestyle modifications to overall wellness goals.

This course is an activity course designed to develop an understanding and appreciation for golf as an activity that can contribute to a healthy and active lifestyle at any age. Students will develop knowledge of the basic rules, fundamental skills and etiquette of golf in a country that has been the Home of Golf for hundreds of years. The course will include a visit to St. Andrews and the Old Course which is one of the most famous and revered golf courses in the world.

Soccer- Study Abroad- 1 hour wellness activity credit

This course is an activity course designed to develop an understanding and appreciation for soccer as an activity that can contribute to a healthy, active lifestyle. Students will develop knowledge of the basic rules, fundamental skills and strategies of soccer in a country that embraces what is affectionately known as the “beautiful game.” The course will include a tour of Hampden Park, the National Stadium for the Scottish Football Association (SFA) and where the best players in Scotland showcase their skills.
