STATE TOURNAMENT EVALUATION
Please take a few moments to provide us with your perceptions of your state tournament site so that we might improve in future years. Check the indicated box, and where appropriate, please provide written comments. Thanks in advance.
Site. Tournament site



Name.

Communication. There was good communication between the tournament director and coaches.






Questions. Questions were answered in a prompt manner.






Schedule. The schedule was posted/received by December 21, 2005 and updates/dates of revisions were clearly indicated on the web page or communicated to coaches in a timely fashion.






Facilities. The facilities for all event venues were adequate.






Sequestered. The parents and other adults were kept “sequestered/isolated” so they could not assist the students during the event.






SafeView. It was possible to view many of the device events from a safe location.






OnTime. The events started on time and all events were run.






Rules. The event rules were followed as in the manual with the exceptions of those modifications posted on the web page.






Impound. The impound procedure was done adequately and devices were stored in a safe area.






Difficulty. The degree of difficulty for the events was appropriate.






FairJudging. The events were judged and handled fairly for all teams.






Scoring. The scoring was done as described in the rules.






Supervisors. The event supervisors and their staff had a good attitude and seemed interested in promoting science.






ScoreSheet. The score sheet were given to all teams at the end of the award ceremony.






TestsReturned. Tests, where applicable, were returned to coaches along with the scores.






Direcotor. The tournament director was available for questions throughout the day.






Competition. I was impressed with the overall level of competition exhibited by participating schools.






Return. I would like to return to this site next year.
