Area F Lab Assignments
EDUC 2110, EDUC 2120, and EDUC 2130 Labs
Requirements:

Successfully complete a criminal background check:

The ASU Public Safety office will conduct the background check. You will be given a background check form to fill out the first night of class. This form will be turned in to your instructor. You do not need to contact Public Safety.

Due to the sensitive nature of working with children in the public schools, the Department of Public Safety at Augusta State University will conduct a background review of all students. Only students who present a record free of criminal and/or disciplinary activity will be given a lab assignment.

All forms will be given to you the first day of class.

Hours:
Each course has a 20 hour lab component. You will be assigned to a school in which to complete your lab observation experience. You will be given specific dates to make the initial contact with the assigned school. Then, you will complete the 20 hour requirement on dates that are agreed upon with your host teacher.
Expected Conduct and Dress Code

As a student of Augusta State University, you are representing not only ASU but also the College of Education. Students are expected to dress appropriately for their lab experience. Inappropriate behavior or dress will not be tolerated and students who exhibit such behavior will be withdrawn from the course.
