Carey Anne Cushman received her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, Master of Education in Early Childhood Education, and Education Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning from Augusta State University. She taught 1st and 3rd grade in the Columbia County school system before coming to GRU. Currently, Carey Anne is a doctoral candidate in Curriculum Studies at Georgia Southern University. She also serves as the Early Childhood Program Coordinator and teaches early childhood curriculum and classroom management courses. Her scholarship interests include new teacher induction, classroom management, and pre-service teacher development.
