Gordon Eisenman received his Ed.D in Early Childhood Education at The University of Georgia in 1995. Before coming to Georgia Regents University he taught elementary school for six years in Georgia and Florida. Since coming to Georgia Regents University he has been a faculty member, served as chair of the Department of Teacher Education for five years, and Dean of the College of Education for two years. Dr. Eisenman has served on every major committee on campus and on numerous state committees. He was the founding faculty advisor for the Kappa Delta Epsilon Education Honors Fraternity at the university and the coordinator of the Early Childhood Program. Dr. Eisenman teaches courses at the graduate and undergraduate level including curriculum, methods, classroom management, and educational technology. His scholarship is focused on classroom management for the improvement of learning, teacher education and classroom culture.
