Jackie Creasy earned her BS in Education, Master of Education, and Education Specialist degrees from Georgia Southern College (now Georgia Southern University) with certification in Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disabilities and Behavior Disorders. Her career began at Gracewood State School and Hospital where she served as special education teacher for residential students. Creasy then moved to the Columbia County School system where she served as teacher for the Orthopedically Impaired at the elementary, middle and high school levels before becoming a special education Lead Teacher at the county level. She later added certification in Educational Leadership from Augusta State University and became Assistant Principal at Evans Middle School and then Greenbrier Middle School. Creasy retired from Columbia County as the Principal of Greenbrier Middle School. After retirement, she served part time in the Teacher Education Department at Augusta State University as Supervisor for Apprentice and Practicum Students. She also worked as a supervisor for TAPP students through CSRA RESA. Jackie Creasy is now working full time as the Field Experience Coordinator for the College of Education at Georgia Regents University.
