I graduated from Asbury College with a B.S. in Education (1-8) and from Augusta State University with a Masters in Early Childhood Education (K-5) as well as an Educational Specialist Degree in Teaching & Learning. I have twenty years of teaching experience in schools in the Augusta area. I loved working with student teachers over the years and have enjoyed transitioning to the college-level teaching experience having been employed at Augusta State since the fall of 2006. I have been married to my husband Steve Farmer (a CPA) since 1981 and have been blessed with two children as well as a daughter-in-law and son-in-law. I love spending time with family, teaching, attending UGA football games, reading, walking in our neighborhood located close to the Savannah River and volunteering at our church.
