Faculty and Staff Training and Development Center

Reese Library room 305, the Faculty and Staff Training and Development Center, is the primary facility for training and development for faculty and staff in instructional technology resources and services at Augusta State University (ASU). Designated trainers use the facility to educate and assist faculty and staff members in developing instructional packets for their classes.

Computer Services, Reese Library and Media Services provide one primary and an alternate trainer each, as part of a Training Triad. These representatives, with other designated campus trainers and support staff, equip, maintain and coordinate the facility to assist excellence in teaching for the students of ASU. The Training Triad is devoted to collaborating, cooperating and presenting new and exciting resources to the staff and faculty of ASU that will be beneficial and rewarding to the ASU campus.

Mission Statement: The Training Triad will provide training on how to use technology for teaching and learning, and troubleshooting methods. Faculty and staff will be taught new procedures, technology applications and information resources relevant to their field of study.
