Triad Meeting
December 3, 1999

1. Kimberly Hartenstein from Continuing Education instructed Triad members on using Aceware. Triad members were told to contact Denise Moore-Giles for their password and user access code to officially complete the training and use Aceware.
   
   
2. Maureen will be conducting the "Faculty Development Institute" which is a state mandated faculty training program. It will consist of 4 people who were chosen already (1 from College of Ed, one from Business, and 2 from Arts and Sciences) by a committee called the "Faculty Cohorts" who are faculty members who attended these same types of sessions given by OIIT. The 4 selected will be required to attend all 15 weeks (4 hours per week). During the sessions it might be possible that some other faculty members will register and slip in for specific sessions. The focus however will always be on the 4 core selectees.
   
   
3. Randle asked what the word was on the street. What do faculty and staff want taught? Any suggestions? It was suggested that a survey be sent to faculty and staff to get their input on subjects to be offered on campus by the Triad for their development. As well as the best or worst times to offer instruction.
