However, please be advised that we do not offer over-the-phone tutoring. We cannot do this not only because it would be unfair to the students who are present in the center to be tutored, but also because we believe that the best way to enhance your writing skills and identify your writing strengths and weaknesses is through person-to-person communication.

In this day and age of automated service through phones and the Internet, the art of interpersonal communication is becoming less and less practiced. We at the Writing Center are doing our part to counteract this weakening of the human-to-human connection, and we'll hope you'll join us. Come in, sit down, and sharpen your skills with us. Together we can defeat the machines of the modern world and show everyone that the best results are produced when people work one-on-one, directly together.
