When it comes to helping others, the ladies of Zeta Tau Alpha are always willing to lend a hand.

In 1992, Zeta Tau Alpha adopted The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation as the Fraternity's national philanthropy. At the 1996 International Convention, the Fraternity voted to increase ZTA's support of breast cancer awareness by backing all organizations committed to breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment. ZTA has provided more than a quarter of a million dollars to breast cancer research and education.

Today, our National Philanthropy is Breast Cancer Education and Awareness. See THINK-PINK!®, NFL, Yoplait, Courage Night and Susan G Komen Race for the Cure® Survivor Program for detailed information.

Zeta Tau Alpha is now partnering with the Young Survival Coalition (YSC) to reach out to young women in communities and on college campuses and to remind them that they are never to young to get breast cancer.

Young Survival Coalition

Why is it so important to us?

-Breast Cancer affects 1 in 8 women
-Every 10 minutes a woman dies from breast cancer
-The causes of breast cancer are still unknown and cannot be prevented

We are all women who want to make a stand against breast cancer and have been supporting breast cancer awareness and education since 1992. We love our philanthropy because it's one that affects all of us.  So many of us have a mother, aunt, friend or loved one who has been effected by Breast Cancer so it means that much more to us!
