GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT COURSE:

 

OBJECTIVEProvide a systematic examination of invertebrate and vertebrate organisms with attention to phylogenetic development.

 

Holidays: 6Sep. and 24-26Nov.

 

Midterm:  Last day for withdrawal with a W = 11 Oct. 2010

 

Final Test: TBA                 

 

MAKE‑UP TESTS:  Students must call and make arrangements ahead of time for an excused absence from a test.  Otherwise a ZERO will be given for that test.

 

Attendance Policy:  Students may be dropped from class with a WF after 1.5 WEEKS of absences, regardless of average. Tardiness penalties will be discussed in class.

 

ACADEMIC HONESTY: It is assumed that you will submit your OWN work and complete your tests in an honorable manner. Deviations from acceptable and expected behavior will cause serious repercussions!

 

NO TAPING OF LECTURES IS ALLOWED. Cell phones/PDAs/etc. are not permitted in class. Approval must be given to use computers in class.
