Constructing
Quadrilaterals with GSP
Use GSP to
construct each of the following quadrilaterals.
square
rectangle that is not a square
parallelogram
rhombus
trapezoid
Be sure your constructions
survive when dragged! Use a text box to explain
how you know your construction meets the criteria for each quadrilateral.
The construction
for each quadrilateral should be on a separate page. Use the “tab” feature of GSP in order to
create just one file with different pages for each construction. To activate this feature go to FILE, Document
Options, Add Page, Blank Page. You should have one file with 5 pages. Name the pages as: square, rectangle that is not a square,
parallelogram, rhombus, and trapezoid which appropriately correspond to the 5
quadrilaterals. Note that the names of
the pages appear on tabs in the bottom of the window, allowing you to jump from
one page to another.
How
to turn in and label your work:
Email me your GSP file.
For this assignment you will have 5 tabs at the bottom of your GSP
worksheet. Please save your file as your
last name and first initial_quad.gsp
For example, I would email myself (at lcrawfor@aug.edu) the following file:
crawfordl_quad.gsp
