Located at 701 Broad Street on the corner with 7th, this building was the Georgia Railroad Bank & Trust Co. main office from its construction in 1902 until it was renovated and became part of the C&S Bank around 1968-1969. It replaced an earlier building built on this site in 1836. This photograph is probably from the early 1960's based on the automobile in the extreme lower left and the fashions and hairstyles worn by the visible people. 24 X 19 cm B&W Copy |
