3.1: Scope and Content: Manuscript consists of four pages possibly produced by mimeograph. The title indicates that this was written in honor of Civil War General P.G.T. Beauregard in the quick-step genre, a type of march with a suggested tempo of 116 MM.

2.7: Administrative / Biographical History: Material shows an ownership mark of THE FLOWERS COLLECTION in the upper right corner of the title page. There is doubt that this is an original copy. It may be a reproduction. The reverse of the title page identifies it as the gift of Mrs. Jesse P. Marshall, 3051 Peachtree Dr., N. E. Atlanta, GA 30305. Material was transferred to Special Collections Augusta State University from the Georgia Division of Archives and History on August 3, 2006.
