| 3.1: Scope and Content: | First manuscript is The Korea I Liked written by Frances Manning Achurch. Gives a first hand account of her life while stationed with her husband in Korea. Second manuscript is entitled Escape From Korea written by William C. Achurch. This is Achurch’s account of the withdrawal of the U.S. Coast Guard from Korea. The newspaper articles are from papers in Augusta and possibly Barnwell, South Carolina. |

McWhorter. Mrs. McWhorter was living in Evans, Georgia in 2006.
