3.1: Scope and Content:	Material relates to Augusta State University Chapter 166 of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. Material includes financial records, administrative files and correspondence, meeting minutes such as committees and working groups, chapter history, miscellaneous materials related to the chapter’s history, Phi Kappa Phi Student Research and Symposium, Annual A Day Symposium and Arsenal Lecture Series materials, initiation programs, membership rosters, posters from programs and lectures. Financial reports include: annual financial reports to PKP national, annual financial reports presented to the membership or executive committee, audit or compilation reports received, tax returns and receipts for filing (first required in 2007)
5.3: Appraisal, Destruction and Scheduling Information:	Items to be kept by the treasurer and destroyed in the eighth calendar year following the end of each fiscal year include: Financial report, except for the report for each fiscal year end, presented to the membership or executive committee, bank statements and checks, invoices, all other records maintained by the treasurer
2.7: Administrative / Biographical History:	Augusta State University Phi Kappa Phi Chapter #166 was established in 1974. The records of the organization were added to Special Collections by deed of deposit in 2011. Additional information about Phi Kappa Phi can be accessed at the national website http://www.phikappaphi.org/web/ or the chapter website at http://www.aug.edu/pkp/ The large posters from symposia in mellinex enclosures are housed in the Special Collections map case.
