| 2.7: Administrative / Biographical History: | Original material was deposited by Dr. Bill E. Bompart with Reese Library at the time of his retirement under an informal deposit agreement. Material was later donated to Reese Library by Mrs. Beverly Bompart in Spring 2012. Material originally consisted of five bankers boxes of state, local, tourist and special interest maps. Special Collections culled the material in accordance with its collection development policy. Certain maps were transferred to the Reese Room or to professors with a teaching interest in the material. One map was transferred to Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum.
