2.7: Administrative / Biographical History:	It is assumed that Special Collections was given these photographs by someone connected to James T. Gardiner Jr. in order to preserve the photographs. James T Gardiner Jr. (1911-January 22, 1975) was a lifelong resident of Augusta who had a career as an insurance adjustor with Guy and Taylor Insurance Adjustors. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Augusta and a member of the Augusta Claims Association. At his death, he was survived by his older brother Lisle who resided in Oregon. There is no evidence of any other surviving relatives.
