India Traveling Photo Exhibit
December 2007/January 2008Reese Library has a new gallery space devoted to works of art of interest to the Augusta State University community, as well as to the Augusta community at large. It is located on the second floor of the library in the lobby area just outside the stairway and elevator.
Currently exhibited are photographs taken by award-winning author and photographer Robert Arnett, of scenes in India, taken from his internationally acclaimed book, India Unveiled. They are in color, and represent the cultural diversity and beauty of India and its people. This exhibit will remain in the library until January 29, 2008.
On Saturday, January 12, at 3:00 p.m. Mr. Arnett will come to Augusta and speak about his experiences in India and do a slide presentation based on photographs from his book.
The exhibit and presentation are free and open to the public.
