An excellent image of a portion of the Small Craft Repair Facility, Da Nang, RVN, 1969.
From left, the Coast Guard cutters Point Dume (WPB 82325), (unknown), and
Point Orient (WPB 82819) outboard of the barge quarters of Division 12
Staff (white building).
Next were the SWIFT and PBR moorings followed by the USS Tucumcari and
USS Flagstaff moored in the location previously occupied by the Coast Guard
WPBs and SWIFTS.
This move to the end of the YFNB2 (Navy barracks barge) and YR-71 caused all supplies
and ammunition to be carried some 300 feet by the crews.
When large loads were on loaded the WPBs moved to the quay after of USS Flagstaff.
This is where Blackhaw and LSTs moored.
The white building to the far right is the headquarters buildings of Coast Guard Divsion 12.
