Itinerary

June 5th Leave Augusta at 7:30am if you are on the bus for flight to Los Angeles Airport to connect to
our transpacific flight to Fiji. Our flight leaves LAX at 7:15pm for Nadi, Fiji.

June 6th This is a travel day, we will be enroute to Fiji

June 7th Arrive at Nadi, Fiji at 2:45am and are greeted with a shell
lei welcome. We will
have a bus take us to our hotel where are rooms are waiting.

June 8th Half-day Vuda Lookout tour: Visit the Garden of the Sleeping
Giant, Viseisei Village & Vuda Lookout & fruit farm. Refreshments included. The rest of the day is for first class introductions and free time.

June 9th Class field trips in Fiji. Today you will be going to sites
selected by your professors in this country. Each class will have a different site to visit and assignments from your professors.

June 10th We will depart Fiji at 5:25am and arrive in Auckland New
Zealand at 9:30am. We will be met at the airport and taken to our hotel. Check in time is later than our arrival, so we will have an
orientation to the area. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will
have your first New Zealand field trips. Upon returning, you will have a free evening.

June 11th Half-day Auckland city tour:View the city’s beautiful
harbors, America’s Cup location, the dormant volcano Mount Eden with a stop at Michael Savage Memorial for the views. The rest of the day will be taken with afternoon field trips with your professors. Evening free.

June 12th Class field trips in New Zealand. Today you will be going to
sites selected by your professors in this country. Each class will have a different site to visit and assignments will be given by your professors.

June 13th Class field trips in New Zealand. Today you will be going
to sites selected by your professors in this country. Each class will have a different site to visit and assignments will be given by your professors.

June 14th We will travel to Sydney today. You must check out of your
hotel room in the morning, but the balance of the day if a free day.
You must return to the hotel by 4pm and a bus will take us to the airport. We will arrive in Sydney at 5pm and be taken to the hotel by another bus. We will check into our rooms and the evening is free.

June 15th Half-day Sydney city tour:See the recognizable Harbour
Bridge, Hyde Park, Kings Cross and Bondi Beach, finishing up with a special guided tour of the Opera House.
The rest of the day will be taken with afternoon field trips with your professors. Evening free.

June 16th Class field trips in Australia. Today you will be going to
sites selected by your professors in this country. Each class will have a different site to visit and assignments will be given by your professors.

June 17th Class field trips in Australia. Today you will be going to
sites selected by your professors in this country. Each class will have a different site to visit and assignments will be given by your professors.

June 18th We return home today. You must check out of your hotel room
in the morning, but the balance of the day if a free day. You must return to the hotel by 1pm and a bus will take us to the airport. We will fly from Sydney at 4pm to Auckland and then connect to a flight to Los Angeles. We will then fly back to Georgia where your family and friends will welcome you home!

June 19th Arrive back in Atlanta at 5:08 AM - expect to be back at ASU around 8:30 - 9am if you are taking the bus.
