Student Assessment

In order to assess student progress on completion of tasks on the investigation task card, students will:

• Choose one item from each level of task for evaluation purposes.

The item will be of the student's choosing and should be representative of

what the student feels is their best work.

• Present the items they have chosen in a teacher-student conference and will explain the reason for choosing the particular tasks.



• Determine ways in which the tasks involve more than Social Studies skills (to be included in conference).



• Describe different skills they used in the completion of the tasks and which tasks they preferred. They will also explain why they preferred these tasks.
