Print this page before downloading the audio file, so that if your media player takes up part of the screen you can follow Sura 100 of the Qur'an -- Arabic, English transliteration, and translation -- with your view of the text unimpeded.

1. Before downloading either of the following audio files, you should probably go to http://www.winamp.com and download, for free, the full version, which enables playing not only of .mp3 audio files but also .wma audio files.

2. The audio file to be downloaded is the chanting of Sura 100, which lasts two minutes and twenty-five seconds. However, the actual downloading of the file takes considerably longer, but is worth it, not only for the beauty of the rendition but also because the downloaded file may be played repeatedly.

3. The first link is to a more compressed .wma (Windows Media) audio file, which should be accessed from Internet Explorer with the Winamp plug-in.  The regular Windows Media player seems to have trouble buffering the file and continually stops and has to be started.  Click here to listen to Sura 100 in the .wma audio file format.

4. The second link is to a less compressed .mp3 audio file, which takes longer to load, and can be accessed through Netscape with the Winamp plug-in or Internet Explorer with this or another plug-in "supporting" .mp3 audio files.
