Test Schedule comments
In summer 2007 when we first used this particular edition of the textbook, chapter 2 was finished on day 5, chapter 5 was finished on day 11, and chapter 9 was finished on day 17.  In 2009 these dates correspond to July 1, July 10, and July 20.  Assignments and the number of questions and amount of discussion varies from year to year, but this is a rough idea of when you might expect each test.

Tutoring center-
Tutoring in astronomy, chemistry, physics, and physical science this summer takes place on the 3rd floor of Science Hall in room W3017.  There are several different tutors who will be available this session, but only some of them will be able to assist you with astronomy.  The tutoring center schedule along with a listing of which tutors can assist with which classes is posted on the chemistry/physics tutoring center website.
